This year, I’m starting off the New Year on the right foot by getting to the root of my lack of motivation.

If you are a regular here at Run Mommy Run, you might know that I have been lacking in motivation since about August, shortly after my first triathlon sprint at Grimsby Iron Girl. I think I’m finally at the root of the problem: Iron Deficiency!
It’s not the first time I’ve suffered from low iron so I should have clued in, however, this time my symptoms were different and I let it go on too long. Now I’m working hard at getting my levels up back up, I’m hoping that I’ll find my inspiration back! I’ve selected my goals for 2017, and it’s all about getting back to the basics; strengthening my core, fueling my body better and strength training.
Because of my recent lack of motivation, the scale has started creeping higher and higher. This must stop! I’ve tried P90X3 with amazing success in the past, but I’ve been really curious about the 21 Day Fix and their portion control containers. I’m pumped to get started, so as soon as I receive my shipment, I’m going to take the three weeks to do a full review of the program. I’ll let you know if I’m as successful at shedding weight with this program as I was with P90X3.
