2014 is the first year that Run Mommy Run blog has been running. It’s evolved enormously since its first inception. I thought it would be fun to share some of the highlights from 2014 in this review.
|My original blog title|
My very first post was March 18, 2014. I started blogging as a way of keeping a diary of my post baby weight loss. I was hoping to inspire others to do the same. I followed the 90 day program from Beach Body called P90X3 and I originally thought that I would blog for those 90 days and that would be it. Look as you may, I have deleted all my posts from March to about May 9th since I didn’t think those posts were high in quality.
On August 27th, I decided to re-brand my website because it had turned into more of a running blog. I decided to name it Run Mommy Run. Click here to view my ReBranding post. Shortly after, I created my logo. My blog took off after that. I started sharing my posts on social media and built a small following that keeps increasing. It’s really fun to watch my blog evolve and grow.
You never know what will catch people’s attention. I wrote “How I got Started Running” on a day when I wasn’t sure what to write about. It quickly became my most popular post. with almost 3000 views. This post went viral, It had reached near the 3000 mark in just a few days. That’ was exciting to see.
My worst post would be the one from my 5km obstacle race. This was written back in May when I didn’t have many followers. I am sure that if I were to post this one now, it would be much more successful. I had 8 views on this post, and not a single comment.
Post that generated the most comments
Surprisingly, my post about my First Winter Run generated the most comment. It generated a lot more attention then I thought it would. It was also share quite a bit on Google + as well. You just never know what will catch people’s attention.
I’m looking forward to seeing what 2015 will bring and how this blog will evolve further. If you are one of my regular followers, which has been your favorite post?
