I had a great weekend and I’m back to reality today. Actually, I feel like I’m falling behind this week and it’s only Monday. This weekend was quite busy! I had a great Mother’s Day celebration. I enjoyed a wonderful brunch on Sunday morning and I had the luxury of a nap in the afternoon! Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see my own mother on that special day, since she lives so far away, but I did have a nice conversation with her over the phone!
I received some great arts and crafts from my son who’s almost 2. The first gift, a potted plant, was made at day care.
The second is finger painting art that my son made with my husband. I really wish I could have been a fly on the wall to see that one being made, but I was out at the salon getting a hair cut. I love all those little art project my son brings home. I brought this cute finger painting to work for display in my office!
Anyhow, I’m in training for my next 10 Km race, the Peachbud, at the end of June. Here is what’s my training looked like this week.

Looks like last week I was feeling quite ambitious when I created my training plan! I think overall I did fairly well, but according to my plan, I didn’t as much as I had anticipated. Sometimes, laundry and other household duties take precedent unfortunately!
Here is I actually did this week:
Monday – Some workout from Nike Tr aining Yoga for Runners
Tuesday – 40 min easy run (green zone)
50 33 min run (yellow zone)
Lesson 4 from Running Revolution & 31 min interval training
– REST and maybe drink wine 26 min interval training (was too hot and humid and I started seeing stars so I cut it short) but I did enjoy some pizza and Margrita on the Patio!
Saturday – 55 min interval training
Sunday – Some workout from Nike Training Who am I kidding, it was Mother’s Day.
Here is what I plan to do this week:
Tuesday – 40 Minute easy run
Wednesday – 50 min progressive run
Thursday – 30 min interval training
Saturday or Sunday – 55 min progressive run
What does your training plan look like this week?
