Happy Labour Day everyone! Cozy up, Fall is around the corner. Yes, I said it, Fall! For me, the word Fall is not something to shutter at! It’s my favorite season of all. Not only is it the most picturesque of seasons, but I love cozying up in my sweaters and tall boots.
However, not everyone in my household loves this “F” word. In fact, I can’t say it in front of my husband. It’s a reminder that he’s back to work. This year, Back-to-School is a huge milestone for our family as my 4-year-old son starts Junior Kindergarten. I’ll admit that although I know he’s ready, I’m feeling some anxiety for his first week.
Not only does he start School this week, he starts hockey! Yikes! This month it’s more like hockey school, where he learns to skate with a stick and full equipment! I’m about to become a HOCKEY MOM! Do you have any tips for me? Now that I’m pregnant, I’m struggling on what to wear in those cold arenas as I’m not yet outfitted with winter maternity wear!
What to wear running?
Fall is also my favorite season to run in and I’m totally feeling FOMO (fear of missing out) now since I’ve decided not to continue running while I’m pregnant. I love the cooler temperatures! Because of the weather turning cooler, you might start to think about layering-up for those winter runs or walks. Luckily, if you love summer, you should be fine with a t-shirt and shorts for a few weeks still (in Ontario).
Although I’m not running, I’m really excited that I signed-up for a swim class: Body for Birth and Beyond. I really missed the pool this year! Now how do I find a maternity swimsuit off-season? Maybe if I hurry up, I can find a great deal on something!

I did well with my plan last week, except for yoga, I didn’t do any (sad face). I’m still taking any opportunity of down time to nap. I’ll continue with my plan for this week, and I’m hopefully going to add the yoga this time around.
