Did you know that an Avocado is a fruit? Most people know that its hight in healthy fats but another interesting fact is that its low carb! Avocados are also packed with nutrients. One of my favorite ways of enjoying them is to make guacamole to go with our family’s mexican inspired dishes.
My version of guacamole is kid friendly. I use garlic powder in this recipe because I find it doesn’t over-power the guacamole like a clove a garlic would. I also don’t put any hot peppers in it. From my experience with my 4-year-old, kids don’t like spicy anything.
And like most of my recipes, they are simple and easy to make. This one has very few ingredients like avocado, cilantro, a little lime, garlic powder and salt! That’s it!
Serve it with your tacos, or scoop it up with some nachos! Enjoy!
