Last week on Fall Fashion Friday, I showed you one of Julie’s favorite Fall running outfits. This week, I show you mine. September was quite warm, and now that October is upon us, the weather has dipped and it’s time to add some layers to our running wardrobe. For more information on what to wear according to temperature, please feel free to consult my guide.
Without further ado, I present,
Lucie’s Fall Running Style
About this look: If you see me running this fall, this is what I’ll look like. On my head, I’m wearing my branded headband made by my sister Joanne. For my first layer on top, I’m wearing a Lululemon Swiftly long sleeve shirt. Over the long sleeve shirt, I’m wearing my Saucony Nomad Jacket.
A few months back, I wrote about Where to Find Running Gear For Less. Janice from the Fitness Cheerleader suggested Winners as a great place to find inexpensive running clothes. I took her advice when I was looking for a pair of black running tights. I tried on at least 10 pairs before I found this RBX leggings. RBX isn’t a brand I was familiar with before, but I’m very happy with this new purchase from Winners. On my feet, I’m wearing my black Nike Free running shoes.
A – I picked a purple jacket to add some colour to my running wardrobe. See how it matches my blog colors, coincidence… I think not! It happens to be one of my favorite colors.
B – I had my sister make Julie and I some branded Run Mommy Run headbands along with branded tanks (see the awesome tanks here). Love them all!
C – The RBX leggings have a hidden pocket on the front waist band to hide small objects like keys or tissues.
D – The Lululemen Swiftly shirt has thumb loops. Oh how how I love thumb loops!
E – The RBX leggings have lovely rushing details from the calves to the ankles. It might provide extra room for runners with thicker calves or ankles.
F- That’s just a picture of me! 🙂
Ok, so this isn’t really a high fashion post, but what can you expect from a blog called Run Mommy Run? 🙂 But none the less, if you feel good about yourself, then you’ll be more motivated to workout. Let’s face it, sometimes a cute and comfortable running outfit is motivation enough to go for a run!
What are you wearing this fall for running?
Stay tuned for next week’s Fall Fashion Friday where I show you some actual every day fashion. See you next Friday!
