Another year gone and time for me to start thinking about my goals for 2017!
It’s difficult to believe 2016 is almost over. I remember sitting down around the same time last year and talking about my 2 big goals of 2016. My first half marathon and my first triathlon. And what a year it’s been! I really loved training for those two new firsts. I had no idea what it took to get there, but I went in with commitment and determination and I accomplished them both!
I’m not going to set the bar higher this year. I’m going to turn things around a bit and get back to the basics. I’ll keep running and I’m hoping to do a few local triathlons as well since I really enjoyed the training. I might even run another 1/2 marathon or two this year, since I know I can train and run for this distance. However, I’m not setting a race as a goal this year nor am I going to set a “faster 5 Km, or 10 Km etc as a goal.This year try getting back to the basics for your 2017 Goals. Click To Tweet

I’ve enjoyed a break and now I’m back to working out and blogging! I’m also enjoying another week off from work to spend time with my son and husband! Here is this week’s plan.
Monday: Core Workout
Tuesday: 5 km run
Thursday: Strength Training
Friday: 6 km run
Sunday: 7 km run
