Last week, I posted an update on my my 2015 goals. One goal that I’m working towards right now is to include more cross training. Since I don’t have any races scheduled, it’s the right time to start my cross training and I think I found the right workout. Working out during my lunch hour is working out so well for me. There is an outdoor track just up the street from my office. I noticed that there were workout stations around the track! SCORE!
The workout stations are actually called TREKFIT Fitness Circuit. There are 6 stations with 48 exercises. The exercises are divided in two categories; easy or difficult. The sequences are developed by kinesiologists and are designed to work all muscle groups. You can even download a video of each exercise on your smart phone by scanning the QR code beside the image on the information panels. The information panels (as seen in the image below) are found at each station !
I had a lot of fun doing the circuit and I will definitely be doing it again this week. It’s like a playground for adults! I have to admit that I was trying to take a lot of picture for this post so my workout wasn’t very intense, however, my arm muscles were still quite sore the next day. I don’t have a strong arms; I must work on that!
Here are more pictures of me doing the circuit training
