The medium for art that I am most comfortable with is definitely pencil. I love to draw faces. I’m not that good at it yet, I find the eyes are always challenging to do. Since they define a person, I think eyes are also one of the most important features. The pencil drawings I am sharing with you today were done in 2009 when I first got back to drawing. I’m hoping to get back into it in the new year and share some newer pieces. For now, I will share images of things I have already done.
The originals for the two pencil drawings of my twin sister and myself have been framed and hang on the wall of my mother’s house. It touches me she’s proud of my drawings and she showcases them for everyone to see. She also have a painting of some pink tulips that she has framed in an antique frame she found in a yard sale.
I gifted this pencil drawing of my dog to the assistant dog trainer who helped me rehabilitate Charlie. She loved Charlie and dog sat for me on numerous occasions. He would come back better behaved then when I dropped him off.
I hope you enjoyed!
