On the blog today, I’m providing a review of my Front Runner leggings from Climawear. This is the third of 5 pieces I will be reviewing from Climawear.
A few weeks back, I announced that I had won a $250 giveaway prize from Climawear, a company that makes high quality, affordable seamless activewear that is very fashionable too. I’ve stalked their website for a long time and was thrilled to win this prize. You can have the sneak peek of all 5 pieces I received in my Fall Running Look post but today, I’m reviewing the Front Runner Leggings. In case you missed it, read my two previous reviews, you can catch up on the Free Your Mind Singlet or the Raise The Bar Legging reviews.
Front Runner Leggings: The Basics
The Front Runner Leggings are slim fitting, mid rise leggings. Like other Climawear garments, they are seamless with 4-way stretch to avoid chafing. They are made of nylon, polyester and spandex blend and therefore are quick drying and wick away sweat.
The Front Runner leggings come in white/black like mine, bluebird/blue depths, acid fuchsia/burgundy. They are available on their website (not an affiliate link) for$52 USD.
Just like the Raise The Bar leggings, I selected the Medium size because according to Climawear’s sizing chart, I was in between Small & Medium. I decided to size up since their garments are designed to be like a second skin, and I wanted a looser fit. I believe that Medium is the right size for me.Find out why @Climawear 's Front Runner Leggings are my favorite! #frontrunner Click To Tweet
This pair of leggings is by far my favorite of all 5 Climawear garments I own. They are very comfortable and the tummy control helps to create a very nice silhouette. The mid-rise waist prevents muffin top as well.
The print pattern, a mix of tie-dye and solid stripes is bold, funky and unique, and I absolutely love this look. When I’ve worn them out in public, I get stopped and people ask me questions: where did I get them? who makes them? etc. I feel like walking advertisement for Climawear when I wear them.
I also like the black and white colour since they look great with bright coloured shirts or running jackets! I’d love a red long sleeve shirt to go with them!
I’ve tested them several time out on runs and workouts. They performed very well. I also love wearing them out as athleisure as well since they are so comfy and funky! I’m also happy to report that they are not see-through when stretched and they will not show any sweat spots either, my two top factors for great leggings.
What’s not to love?
Everything is to love. They don’t have pockets, but really, I don’t need any in my leggings for running! They are my favorite leggings. I can’t say anything negative about these leggings.
When it comes to washing technical fabrics you should really pay attention to washing instructions to get the most from your gear. Climawear is no different. It requires cold water wash, no bleach and air dry or tumble dry on low heat. That’s how I wash most of technical clothing anyhow. I love, love, love these leggings. I definitely recommend them to anyone and think the price is right. If you are buying them online, I suggest you contact their sizing expert to help you decide on the right size for you. My Front Runner leggings are an affordable, high-quality garment that are fashion forward and functional!
