I might have failed a bit in my workouts this week, but some much needed family time is exactly what I needed! My aunt and uncle (aslo my Godparents) were celebration their 50th wedding anniversary! I want to wish this great couple a big congratulations on 50 years of love! Their kids threw them a great big party! I have a great big French Canadian family and the hall was packed! It was a great time to see some family I haven’t seen since my wedding 3 years ago and more that I hadn’t seen in who knows how long!
I drove 6 hours North on Saturday with my 2 sisters and my toddler son! We actually drove almost the whole way without the radio! It was about the last 20 mintues when my son got restless that we turned it on to distract him! That means that we did a lot of chatting and laughing on trip here!
I’ve been lucky that I’ve been able to see my twin sister at least once a month since January! That’s pretty unusual since we live so far away! It’s so good to be with her. She’s not just my sister and my best friend, but she truly is a great source of inspiration and motivation for me. I’m sitting down with my twin sister right now, showing her the “behind the scenes” of blogging as we speak.
I also got to cuddle with my cat “Lucie-fur”. He’s my 15 year old cat who I had to re-home with my twin sister Julie when I married my husband since he’s highly allergic to cats. I miss my ol’ boy terribly, but I know he’s well taken care of.Link up with @fitcheerldr & @RunningRachel for #MotivateMe Monday if you need some motivation! Click To Tweet
