Hello everyone. I hope your week is doing well so far. My training is going well and I’m starting to count down my days to my 10 km run.
With the large amount of snow we’ve had in the last few days, I’m starting to wonder what the course will look like in two weeks. Do I need anything special winter running gear? And I’m also playing some “What if” scenarios in my head like “what if there is a snow storm on race day” or “what if the wind is high or the weather drops below 20 C”. Is this race anxiety?
OK, back to my post. I’ve seen some posts on “What’s in my handbag” before, but I’m not a fashion blogger and I don’t have anything really impressive in my purse so I passed on the idea. Since I finally do go to a gym, I thought why not do a “What’s in my gym bag” post instead. So, here it is…

I should add that I should never ever forget my ear phones to plug into my iPhone because running without my music wasn’t as fun! I had the volume on the lowest possible so that I could hear the app coach me through my run, but that meant that others could hear as well.
